Privacy policy
We sell none of it, we send none of it to advertisers, and the bulk of what we hold is something you typed on purpose. Here is the whole of it, including the parts you did not type.

Who we are
Bezar.io LLC, of Atlanta, Georgia. We build ecommerce and integration systems for manufacturers. To reach a person about anything on this page, email benito@bezar.io. Every request lands with someone who can act on it.
Analytics
We run Google Tag Manager, and through it Google Analytics. It puts cookies in your browser and tells Google about your visit: your IP address, roughly where in the world you are, which pages you opened, how long you stayed.
We use it to answer fairly dull questions. Is anyone actually reading the build-versus-buy page. Did a case study get passed around after we sent it. That is the extent of our curiosity. It is not wired to any advertising product, we do not run remarketing, and no social network has a pixel on this site.
If you would rather not be counted, Google publishes a browser opt-out, and any content blocker stops it just as well. Nothing here behaves differently if you block it, and we would honestly rather you blocked it than felt watched.
What you send us
The Start a project page runs a guided conversation with an AI assistant so that we understand your situation before we speak. We keep what you type there, along with your name, your company and your email address. Reaching us by phone or email instead lands in the same place.
Alongside the conversation we record the pages you read before you started, the page you started from, how you arrived if your browser told us, which browser you used, and any PDF you attach. That is context for whoever reads your enquiry. Knowing you came in from the freight case study, having read the build-versus-buy page twice, is the difference between a useful first reply and a generic one.
To join those together we set a cookie called bz_vid the first time you arrive. It holds a random identifier and nothing else, only our own server can read it, and it lets us attach those page views to your enquiry and recognise you if you come back later. It lasts a year. Clearing your cookies ends it.
We keep your network address too. For a firm that sells to other companies an address often says which company is reading, and we would rather know. We also derive a salted one-way hash of it, and that hash, rather than the address, is what enforces the limit on how many conversations one visitor can start.
One request. Please do not paste credentials, customer records or pricing files into that conversation. Describe the problem in your own words. If we need to see anything confidential, we will set up a proper channel for it first.
Why we keep it, and for how long
To reply to you, and to work out what your project would involve. Nothing else. We will not put you on a mailing list, and nobody buys this data from us, because we do not sell it.
Enquiries stay in our system for around two years, and the page views and address recorded with them are kept on the same clock. A conversation that goes quiet in March often picks up again in October, and making someone repeat themselves because we tidied up is a bad way to start. After that we delete them. If we end up working together, your project correspondence is governed by that engagement instead.
Who else sees it
Google, through the analytics described above.
Past that, only the services it takes to run a small firm: somewhere to host the site, something to send mail, and the AI provider whose model powers the intake conversation. They handle this material on our instructions and for no purpose of their own. Ask and we will name any of them, which is usually what a vendor questionnaire is really after.
Your choices
Email benito@bezar.io. We will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. No form, no account to close, and a person writes back.
Where you live may give you a formal right to ask, under the GDPR or California law. We do not work out which statute applies before saying yes.
Server logs and your theme
Our host keeps ordinary request logs, the way every web server since 1994 has: address, timestamp, the URL requested, the browser's user agent string. They exist to keep the site up and to spot abuse. That is the host's own record, separate from the enquiry details described above, which we hold ourselves.
Separately, if you switch the site between light and dark, that choice is written to your own browser under the key bz-theme. It never reaches us and we cannot read it. Clearing your browser storage removes it.
Changes
If this changes in a way that matters, the date at the top moves.
